TRANSLATOLOGIA – Journal of TRANSlation Studies and TRANScultural Communication is a double-blind peer-reviewed multilingual scholarly journal for translators, interpreters and terminologists.
It is the first South-East and Central European online journal which publish original scientific articles in the field of translation studies, interpreting, transcultural communication, audiovisual translation and terminology. Previously, from 2016 until 2020 the journal was issued by the Department of Translation Studies at the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra.
From 2021 the journal will be published by the Department of Translation Studies at the Faculty of Arts, University of Maribor once a year (November). The journal is seeking original, previously unpublished, papers which cover various topics in the field of translation and interpreting, transcultural communication, audiovisual translation and terminology.
Articles for TRANSLATOLOGIA are published in English or German but we also accept articles in Slovene and other languages of South-East Europe. To ensure the quality of the contributions, all papers will be submitted to a blind peer review process. The peer review process usually take about two months. TRANSLATOLOGIA does not charge authors to publish their work.
